SRAM x Peloton: A Visit to SRAM’s German HQ

When you think of SRAM, you probably don’t think of Schweinfurt, Germany–an industrial, but quaint, city on the river Rhine that was famous during World War II for ball bearing production. When first approached about this project, I imagined cycling on SRAM’s famous indoor track at their corporate HQ in Chicago. Fortunately, I was in store for so much more. Steeped in cycling history, Schweinfurt was an ideal place to start our Rhineland journey to Dusseldorf, where the Tour de France would celebrate its first German start in 30 years.
