Sept 3, 2016 – Stage 14 of the 2016 Vuelta a Espana will be an unforgettable sight for many, the stage included three major climbs with the most significant being France’s Col d’Aubisque. GC Favorites Nairo Quintana, Chris Froome, and Alberto Contador battled tooth and nail for the stage, yet Contador would eventually fall behind as Quintana and Froome charged for the line. The winner of the day was Dutchman Robert Gesink, taking the Vuelta’s queen-stage after an impressive attack in the finale. Enjoy our stage 14 gallery, courtesy of Yuzuru Sunada.
