The 2016 Arctic Race of Norway Runs from August 11th to the 14th.
With their heartrates barely lowered after the unbelievable action of the Olympic Road Race in Rio, defending champion Rein Taaramäe and former world champion Philippe Gilbert have made their way to northern Norway from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to contest overall victory in the fourth edition of the Arctic Race of Norway.

It should be another year of big sprint battles between Norway’s favorite son, Alexander Kristoff, John Degenkolb and Arnaud Démare. These three men also happen to be the last three winners of Milan-San Remo.

Running from Thursday August 11th to 14th 2016, the 4th edition of the Arctic race of Norway will be made up of 4 stages and will cover a total distance of 727.5 kilometers with Fauske, Rognan, Mo/Rana, Sandnessjoen, Nesna, Korgfjellet and Bodo sounding more like locations in ‘Game of Thrones’ than the race’s host cities.
The 2015 Edition featured some of the most stunning scenery of any race in the world.
