May 21, 2015 – Philippe Gilbert and BMC timed their efforts perfectly to deliver the former World Champion to an impressive uphill victory. Meanwhile, Alberto Contador latched onto the charging group in the lead and even took a time bonus to jump ahead of rivals Fabio Aru and his fellow Astana teammates. With all the action, our photographer Yuzuru Sunada captured the intensity and action of stage 12.
