New Site Design
We are proud to announce the new peloton site. Our goal was to provide a clean, uncluttered look with much larger images and long form stories in a modern package. We will be introducing new voices, new films and new features in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned!
The Return of Mr.H
Only Scarlett Johansson knew where Mr.H disappeared to. She, of course, is not saying a word. Thankfully he’s back home and back on the bike. This go-round he takes on the peloton descent on three aero road bikes: Specialized Venge, BMC TMR01 and Felt’s AR2. Will the Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 be toppled by one or all? Experience peloton Issue 28
For Issue 28 we look at the concept of Adventure. Whether on the road or off, the bike is a tool for exploration and there is no shortage of discovery like Jered and Ashley Gruber discovering Hong Kong or reflecting on the ups-and-downs of the fall of 2013 shooting photographs and riding in Europe. Dan Chabanov tells the tale of the Tour de Beauce, John Wilcockson explores his childhood and the adventures of growing up in postwar England, Augustus Farmer takes to the road in Rome, we look at five solid bikes perfectly suited for any adventure and Heidi Swift portrays a legend in Ina-Yoko Teutenberg. There’s more of course jammed beneath the covers. It’s on newsstands now. You can subscribe here.
Check out switchback Issue 16
Issue 16 looks at the 27.5 “revolution.” Will it spell the death of the 26? Get true insight and viewpoints from the bike industry and our own Burton Patrick. Like peloton, switchback 16 looks at Adventure with Dan Koeppel and “Hug The Bunny” recalling his old Pony folding bike, Jerome Clementz discusses his off-season, and Augustus Farmer talks about the ultimate trail dog. Six dropper posts get put through the wringer, as do three sets of 27.5 wheels and five bikes from the likes of Ritchey, Norco, Orbea, KHS and Fezzari. Roy Wallack tracks down Rebecca Rusch and Bryan Schatz portrays the life of Pushkar Shah who truly epitomizes the spirit of Adventure! And more…
