Good news for e-bikers: Wahoo has added e-bike data screen compatibility to its line of ELEMNT GPS cycling computers. With a new firmware update released today, Wahoo ELEMNT computers will now be able to connect with select models Giant e-bikes, all 2019 and 2020 Specialized Turbo bikes, as well as other ANT+ LEV connected bikes, and be able to display important e-bike metrics, like battery life, current mode, and assist percentage. ELEMNT workout screens will also be able to display total time spent in each e-bike mode and estimated remaining battery life. The update is available for all ELEMNT computers. This is welcome news for anyone hoping to get more advanced data than is currently available with the sparse controllers on most e-bikes.

Wahoo also announced a new stealthy black-on-black colorway of its ELEMNT BOLT computer, a color the Atlanta-based brand says was much requested by its athletes and customers. Wahoo is also dropping the price of the BOLT by $20, to $230.
