FI’ZI:K TERRA POWERSTRAP X4
The fi’zi:k TERRA POWERSTRAP X4 reimagines Velcro closures for a comfortable gravel shoe that’s easy to adjust but still packs plenty of performance at a price you’ll love. Made of two separate, individually adjustable straps, the Powerstrap closure wraps around the entire foot, rather than just pulling both sides of the upper together, to provide a secure, more precise fit. This shoe also gets its own outsole, the X4, which balances stiffness and comfort—an equation that’s crucial to nail for gravel. On the underside of the shoe, a rubber tread ensures both grip and durability as you walk across gravel roads. And you get all this for $150, so you don’t have to worry about scuffing up your kicks off-road—though these shoes are up for whatever your adventures bring.

SIDI GRAVEL
Yes, these shoes from Sidi are made for gravel riding and, yes, they’re called “Gravel.” If only all product names could be that straightforward! These $240 shoes are built around an MTB Competition sole, which is stiff for efficient pedaling while providing excellent traction for when you need to hike your bike or take a detour. If conditions are especially sloppy, you can add toe spikes for extra traction. A Politex Suede Upper combined with a single Sidi Tecno 3 Precision dial-ratchet closure secures the feet comfortably. And because these shoes need to stand up to rougher conditions, they have polyurethane ankle padding and abrasion-resistant toecaps.
