Specialized, ISM & Science in Sport: Service Course Goods

Wednesday is gear day at the Peloton Service Course and we’ve noticed the fall riding calendar is getting packed with incredible events full of challenging terrain. Our own PELOTON Gravel Mob is this November 12th, in Ojai, CA (Info and Registration is here!) So, this week we look at products designed to make those miles more enjoyable. We see the updates Specialized has made to one of our favorite helmets, the Specialized Prevail, as well as ride the latest ISM saddle with the funny nose, before hydrating with science in tablet form from SiS.

The Specialized S-Works Prevail helmet is Specialized’s best lightweight road racing helmet. It combines an aerodynamic design and improved ventilation in an ultralight package constructed to achieve an all-around helmet. New features include a high-performance pad designed to increase comfort while also using patented energy-optimized multi-density EPS construction and an aramid-reinforced skeleton to improve impact-energy absorption. Additional features include the Mindset Micro-Dial fit system and large air vents with aligned exhaust ports to keep the head cool. The Saddle with a Nose for Comfort

We spend long hours trying to be one with our bikes as endurance athletes so we need the very best in performance for our rear ends to stay comfortable enough to keep the pedals churning. The ISM PL 1.0 saddle is an update to the classic Breakaway seat—the PL 1.0 is the dominant force in ISM’s Performance Long category. Hydration Science in the Convenience of a Tablet
