Dec. 15, 2014 — Flip through the opening pages of any issue of peloton and you’ll see What We Dig. It’s an eclectic brew of gifts, books, food, beer, and other items that have captured our fancy. Occasionally cycling-related, frequently not, we bring you what we dug in 2014 here in 12 installments. Enjoy Day 2!
Maiden Belgium Tee
Matthew Burton’s work can be seen in almost every issue of peloton. His latest T-shirt creation admonishes you to “Run for your lives, the Cannibal is coming.” Check out this and many other cycling-inspired designs from Matthew on his site.
Shinola Runwell Sport Chronograph
This watch will soon become a classic. The Runwell Sport features a stainless bracelet with orange dial and black sub eyes in a 47mm case. Shinola offers a variety of designs and price points, but this is our favorite.
The Bike Owner’s Hand Book
A classic guide to bike ownership and maintenance, this little book by Peter Drinkell offers detailed information on basic to complex repairs and a foreword by Graeme Fife. Worth keeping in your library.
